We here at Narragansett Beer have a deep love and respect for hard-working, local people producing amazing products that they are passionate about. When we met Jay and Derek at Newport Jerky Co., we were blown away. As big Jerky fans they were frustrated with the mass-produced Jerky products that were loaded with preservatives and fake coloring. They set out to create a line of small-batch, always fresh, gourmet jerky with both traditional styles and some exotic offerings including python, alligator, kangaroo, rabbit, and fish.
We’re excited to say that when they went to re-think their beef jerky, they knocked on our door and a new Narragansett Mash-Up was born. You can now purchase Newport Jerky Co.’s Beef Jerky that has been marinated in our very own Lager at both their retail locations on Thames Street in Newport Rhode Island and on their website www.newportjerkycompany.com.
